21st Birthday Celebration (Part 1)
Today:
yup, jux came back from a very sumptuous meal from Fish & Co at Glass House. Went to celebrate my advanced bdae with my SIM gang, its' been ages since i stepped into Fish & Co..too bad Shar and Rani were not there..but shar will be there on my actual bdae, rite? hehe..aniway, this wk was reserved for my SIM gang..next wk will be my JI gang..haha..treating both gangs le..must work harder to earn more..hahahar...
As usual, we always dun meet one another with the time we set..met Leen at 6.30pm, thk ger for meeting mi 1st..if not, i will be rotting down there..the rest came ard 7pm..settled down for our dinner at ard 7.30pm. I had a special set 2dae..Coriander Catch, which is actually grilled Dory fish with some kinda funni toppings..the dish dun really look appealing at 1st, but the fish was quite tender..but abit tasteless lor..i admit i have quite strong taste for nice food..tats explain the size of my body too, hahahar..had my most favourite calamari too..its definitely a MUST to order everytime u stepped into Fish & Co..they have the best calamari in Spore, yum yumz...
The whole dining session ends ard 9.30pm..Eve went home cuz she was too tired, Qin was going to meet her Cong and Des went to meet his other frenz at KTV..another bday treat from his frenz..leaving mi, Noel and Leen starring at one another without knowing wat's our next plan...pondering between KTV or pool session..but orchard KTV was quite packed..the pool room was also filled with lotsa "ah bengs" at the Spore Shopping Center..(hmm, really miss tat place where i had my singing lesson in Weisong Music School and those techno dancing sessions with my frenz in tat Planet Paradigm disco..those were the days...)
Finally, we decided to go Clementi Partyworld to fulfil my singing crave..board bus 14 and reached ard 10.30pm..was tinking of trying the main hall cuz i dun wish to sing for 3hrs in the room..but the main hall was abit off when i stepped in..a grp of ppl were alreadi "shouting" their way thru..dun really wish to bother and humilate their singing, if i started to open my mouth..hehe..thus, we went walking ard Clementi like those "headless corpses" without knowing wat to do..
MacDonald was our last resolved..had a cup of ice milo, chat abit and we left the place ard 11.30pm..it might seems to be quite a boring evening, but i really appreciates my SIM gang to turn up for the dinner, thou its my treat..haha..but dun worry, i've decided to spend it on u guys since its my 21st bdae..hope u guys enjoyed the meal..
Yesterday:
Had a very early meeting with my SRC Excos on thurs..we were planned to meet at Cityhall mrt..all reached ard 11.30am and we settled down to Pacific Coffee at the Marina Square. The environment was very soothing and relaxing..i simply lurve tat place, where u can sit as long as u wanted, have a very wonderful chit-chat with ur good buddies, the coffee and potato salad are jux marvellous..but the interesting part is tat, they've never ever uses Visa, Mastercard, Nets, etc to collect payment from customers..ALL purchases are purely by cash!!! There are so mani foreigners patroning the cafe so often and yet they dun accept cards..tat's strange rite..i tot this kinda "middle class" cafe shld accept cards to make it more "higher"..haha, sounds rubbish..
Aniway, we really had a very long meeting with our depts..discussed so mani things regarding the Orientation Day and Camp..now, i even get fone calls or emails from the respective depts every few hrs of the day..*phew*..tats very tiring..but i really hope it will be a success for our Freshman Orientation Camp, looking forward to those who will be the newcomers joining my dept..
The whole meeting ends ard 4pm..walked all the way to Bugis to get my money from Adecco then went straight down to Orchard to meet Winnie at Heeren..met her at 6pm and she handed me a card..i was quite surprised initially, and the card contains an ang bao..its' my bdae gift!! my very 1st bdae gift for my 21st bdae!! so happy!!! hehe..i shall not disclosed the amt. in the ang bao..haha..
Went Heeren, Cineleisure and Far East to look for a simple pair of flip flops to go with my "act sweet" skirt..saw a simple one at Heeren for jux only 8 bucks, quickly grab it since it looks simple and nice..headed on to Cineleisure and a very special watch caught my attention..its a black leather strip with a big-face clock..the inner face is dark red in color..looks cool rite..cost $19.90 but its the last one..i really lurve the watch so much, but since its the last one, i have to give up on it..(cuz the strip looks abit torn after so mani testers had tried).
Saw another one in Far East..$12.90..but its definitely much uglier den the previous one..intending to buy thou, but i still believe i can find a cheaper and nicer one..stepped into Level 1, searched ard..but no traces of nice watches..decided to go up to level 3..VOLA!!, i found a much nicer one and it oni cost $9.90!!! Wat's my decision..GRAB IT WHILE STOCK LAST!!! haha..so, bought a watch and a pair of flip flops yest..end of shopping session..
