Mambo Nite~!!
Yeah, As wat I've posted in the previous entry, I did went to Wala(s) @ Holland Village with Eve, Noel, Leen, Des and his grp of frens. We reached there ard 10.30+pm. Before that, I went to CCK with Eve and Noel for a game of pool and rented 2 vcds back home to watch the next day, Beautiful Boxer and School of Rock. These 2 shows are marvellous, but i prefer Beautiful Boxer more. The male lead is actually very handsome and cute! Go borrow the vcd or download the show if you wanna know more, its' a damn real good show, i swear.
As I was saying, we went to Wala(s). Tried a new kinda of German beer call HoeGarden. The taste was not bad indeed, however the price is "not bad" too. 1 jug cost 45 bucks and its merely sufficient for 4 pax. Its' bloody expensive for a jug of beer! But, I am still willing to pay for it, because the beer is quite nice actually. Edmund (My freshie) told me to try another kinda Irish beer, KilKenny. He said that one will taste even better. More smoother kinda beer, will try it next time.
Wala(s) has a nice ambience. Soothing environment, cool lighting, comfortable sitting area, but only abit noisy due to the live band. The band is cool too. Especially the lead singer. He's not bad, really. He sings well too, especially my two favourite songs, The Reason by Hoobastank and This Love by Maroon 5, super awsome!!
However, we were quite bored after that. Pondering either for supper or straight down to Zouk from 11pm till 11.40pm. Finally, we headed down to Zouk. Reached ard 12am and there was a super long queue outside. Managed to squeeze in ard 12.15am and started to mambo.
Had a few mouthful of Tiger Beer (that really sucks manz!) and started to learn all the mambo steps from the podium. Saw that mambo king on the podium again. He was just too suave whenever he's up there. Observing him for the past hr to learn all his suave steps till he stepped down from the podium. Noel said he looks gayish when he was dancing. Leen said he's not handsome at all and he sucks. Eve said he looks alright and his dancing was nice. I said that HE'S REALLY DAMN CUTE!!! I simply lurve the way he smiled and sang along with the songs with all his hands movements and steps. He just knew it. I repeat, HE JUST KNOW EVERYTHING!
Mambo-ing till 2.45am when we decided to leave the place. Accompanied Eve to wait for her Law to arrive, and managed to get a ride to Al-Ameen @ Bt Timah. Had pratas and teh-tarik with Leen and Noel, left the place at ard 4.15am and reached home ard 4.30am. Mum was still awake, as she was lying down on the sofa and waiting for me to be home. Was quite guilty and slightly fed-up because I told her to go to bed earlier before. She nagged and complained where I've been to. Bathe, listen to cd, read 8 Days (Olinda, Maia and Selvester from Spore idol rocks!!!!) and slept at 5am! Do you consider that as late or early? haharz, fortunately, I woke up at 1.30pm the next day, *phew*
