MEMOIRS.

Had rather draining lectures todae. Firstly in the morning, had my mourning Law session. The law lecturer was going on and on till he reached a point datz I find him speaking tamil to me~!! I can picture him doing all the "bollywood" dances infront of me!! *Gosh*

Macro-econs lecture in the afternoon is yet another failure for students like me. I've a bad tendency to fall asleep or doze off silently after meals. Especially during lessons when the lecturer himself sounds like a gay?! I've no discrimination against gays or lesbians. I speak the truth (winkz to *Dear), grinz. Its just dat his voice was damn irritating till I felt like walking up to him and tell him, "hey, can you stop talking like a sissy, equipped us with relevant infos and not telling us abt your grandfather's stories?!"

Anw my mood was kinda affected by some stupid issue this afternoon. I hate it when people starts to doubt me. I was not in the wrong, in the first place. And why am I getting such a treatment or attitude from you?! It was juz a mere question and an easy answer from you, datz all! Must you be so fed-up abt the whole issue? If you think I'm wad u think I'm, then go ahead with it!! I had enough!!

Luckily *Dear was with me during lecture when I flared up. Told her abt the issue and she made me think twice againz. Maybe I mistaken the tone of the smses? Maybe I shldnt sent the msg earlier on or I shld wait a little longer? Maybe the other party is having a bad mood (PMS)? Yeah, all these "maybe(s)" set me thinking twice once againz. I realised everyone is having PMS for these few daes. Hmm, wad happen? The weather? You guys gonna drink more herbal teas to cool downz man!

Watched Memoirs of a Geisha with OrLeng and Eve after school. Quite an interesting film, but along the way, I roughly know wadz the next moves they wld be going on. Somehow or rather, I felt dat the movie wasn't dat complete yet. Some of the characters in the movie (eg; Granny, Mother, Auntie, Tanaka) were not well played. Guess most of the audiences catching the show for the first time might not be able to understand who's dat old lady (Auntie) was and why was she helping Sayuri all the while?

Some of the scenes regarding how Satsu managed to escape from her Okiya was not very well mentioned too, as from the book it stated dat she had studied her calendar and characters well enough, thus able to make the escape. Japanese, especially Geishas during dat period alwayz read up their calendar book and characters well, as in which lunar month or day they are more suitable to carry out certain duties. And Mr Nobu-san's half disfigured face was not even mentioned in the movie too! I guess, they really focused more on wad Sayuri did during her Geisha period, rather den whom she met and wad she experienced during her life. Maybe its not so much of her "memoirs" anyway. Movies, wad else can you expect rite?!

Overall, I guess the original book illustrated the whole story in a much detailed way. Apparently, the movie was considered relatively long (2hrs and 10mins!!). Guess I would rate the show, 4 out of 5. Frankly speaking, I prefer the young Chiyo more to the grown-up Sayuri~!

Quote: I want a life, that is mine! (Nitta Sayuri).
