A WEEK WELL-SPENT.
Alrite, it had almost been a week since I last blogged. Yeah, been busy with work over at the main office. Damn shit job which I regretted accepting it in the first place. Anyhows, its' just a temp job for 3 weeks. *Phew* But trust me, going thru' for the first week is already like going thru' HELL FOR ME!!! *Arghz* The only joy for me everyday is to meet Leen and Alvin for lunch!! Thkz peeps, for listening to my complains each day. *Grinz*
So much for work, I'm not going to complain over here. I'm sure my close ones had been hearing all the complains from me and they're sick of it already, *LOL* Waking up as early as 6 in the morning, rushing to office at 8 and starts doing shit job. Oh well, didn't I just mention I'm not going to complain anything over here?!
Weekend was great for me! I'd been anticipating weekends since the first day of work. Had my KTV crave over at Suntec's KBOX (its' my first time there!) and nice chilling out over at Paulaner. I gonna say this out loud, I LURVE PAULANER!!! Haha. The beers are relatively cheap since we reached there before 8pm, smooth and nice. Though we rotted till abt 9.45pm, its all worth it mann! The band is great!!
I asked the waitress for the band name and she said, "ohh, I dunno. I usually told customers they're the very famous band in Paulaner. I dun think they've a band name, their names are Mel, Bel and David. And do u know, there're abt 5-10 customers asking this question everyday??"
I laughed. "Oh really?! Wow, they must be very famous indeed."
"Yeah, they're our regular band over here. They performed almost everyday, starting at 9.30pm. Customers flocked over just to hear them sing!"
Woww, impressive indeed. So I wrote a dedication - Sunday Morning and Because of You. And guess wad, Bel sang Sunday Morning FIRST once she got the whole stack of dedications. Wad can I say?! *happy, sha~la~la~*
I've heard of Shirlyn's rendition before. She's good too, but too "vocally-powered" for this song. Its' supposed to be nice, soothing and calm. Bel did a good job. So I wrote a note back, stating,
"Hi Bel, good job on Sunday Morning. Well done. I'll definitely be back real soon. Sign off: SasH"
She was quite surprised when she saw the note with so many wordings, thinking who the hell dedicated soooo many songs?! Then, she smiled and did a "waving" signal back at me. Surprisingly, when its time for them to take a short break before the next gig, she said, ".... and thk you SasH for this. See you soon!"
Oh mann, I was a lil' embarrassed infront of the crowd. But still, I felt appreciated because usually these kinda bands dun even bother abt a small note like this. The most they just read it, smiled and throw it aside. It feels good, to be able to communicate well with the audiences on the floor. It just shows how professional they're and how good they're able to capture the hearts of the customers and bring them back to the pubs again. Well done, Paulaner, especially to the nice and polite waitress and Bel. Didn't manage to get the name and say thkz to the waitress. Dun worry, I'll remember to do it the next time, I promised. *Winkz*
As for today, I went for a performance by the Japanese Cultural Society in Victoria Concert Hall. Cuiping gave us free tixs as she's involved in one of the segments. I can't said I lurve ALL the performances, cuz' some of them are waaaaay too boring. But still, me and Liting tried to enjoy as much as we can, in our own way. *giggles*
Okie, that's so much for this week, I'll update again soon when I've more interesting stuff to talk abt (besides work, of cuz!).
Till then,

MAROON 5
"Sunday Morning"
Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
That someday it would bring me back to you
That someday it would bring me back to you
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave
Fingers trace your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you
Singing someday it'll bring me back to you
Find a way to bring myself home to you
And you may not know
That may be all I needIn darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow?
