Freshmen's Orientation Camp 2004 !!
yeah.. jux back from my F.O.C tis afternoon, 3 daes camp (19/07 to 21/07) at Sentosa. Check in at 8.30am early in the morning, seeing all those new freshies dragging their feet in and wondering how they will be tortured, hehehe..
The whole camp quite pissed me off, cuz' my dept is handling all the logistics for the whole events. Controlling logistics is a damn fucking task cuz' people will treat u guys like Sai Gang (hokkien) people, commanding u to pack these and that, transport all the stuffs over, scolding and screaming their heads off at you when they cant find their things they needed for the games. IN THE 1ST PLACE, THEY NEVER EVEN TOLD US TO BRING THOSE STUFFS TO SENTOSA!!! I had a logistics list with me and all the things we bring or buy are stated clearly by the respective depts' heads and are clearly checked by them. I repeat, CLEARLY CHECKED!! So, there's no point shouting when u urself dint include those stuffs in the beginning and there's no reason why I have to go down personally to bring the stuffs to different stations CUZ' i m not a STOREMAN!!! I AM THE WELFARE HEAD!!!!
Fine, enuff of my complaining. Aniway, only my Welfare members and some others who went understand what we were going thru' for these 3 daes. However, despite all these complains, I am still able to have lotsa fun with my own members and some freshies. Due to common expectations, we were closely bonded once again. Its' very happy when you see the Welfare Dept, as a big family doing things together, *grinz*
Talking about freshies, there's 2 guys who are quite prominent in this F.O.C. 1 is Alex from Jedi and another guy (super cute and handsome) from Sith. I have actually noticed Alex right from the Orientation Day (09/07) itself, hahar. Grace from Welfare Dept was his OGL, so i told her to persuade him to come for the camp as much as possible. Eventually, most of the EXCOs noticed him cuz' he is those super onz type and he's quite corny guy. As for the other guy, I dint managed to get his name. He looks cute cuz' of his big, bright eyes and the braces he was wearing. Some guys do look cute when they put on a braces, like those ACS or ACJC type of guys..wooooahhh..hehe..
Talking about these 2 guys, i have to link with their SPs (Secret Partner) and the SP Dance. I managed to guess the correct SPs for these 2 guys (tat's super amazing!!). Alex's SP is those "you fen liang" gers, hehe..cuz' at 1st he told us he preferred slightly bigger size gers cuz' its' more comfortable to hug, hahar. Wola! His dream came true!! hahar..me and my OGLs kept laughing at him when he found his SP during the SP reveal and he kept pointing finger at us (doing those "wat kaoz, u all best lor" action), hahahar...damn funny!
For that cute & handsome guy, he managed to get the cute & pretty ger from Vampire. Heard that most guys kept "bio-ing" that ger right from the start, including this cute guy. Can see that he's quite happy when he found her, kept putting on his sweetest smile with his cute dimples when both of them are dancing...hehe..so sweeetttttt...told of "tegan-ning" this couple during the SP lomantic walk, but its too time consuming. So, We decided to let them complete as soon as possible.
Had a great fun learning the SP dance and I was involved in doing the demonstration. It has been ages when i had learnt dance steps in such careful manner. Its' fun doing the dance with Sharon, we came out of lotsa different, yet interesting styles during the dance..super funny!! I salute to Ping Yin and Jaslyn for cheorographing and coordinating the whole dance, its' really a nice dance. During the nite, i was being paired up with Alex (not the freshie), both of us were enjoying the dance too, even thou' he din get to learn it before hand, hahar..*starts humming the song now* "Cum'on, Cum'on..turn a little faster..Cum' on, Cum'on..lalalala...ohooo ohoo ohooo, Accidentally in Love, Accidentally in Love...lalalala.."
Basically, my brain can only store happy and fun memories. Other things had been erased, regardless temporary or permanently. Time to start work again, yeah!! It's good to work, thou' its super tiring. I am a 100% rational-economic man now..i need to earn more $$ to compensate my Taiwan Airticket and the $$ i am bringing there to spend..hehe..
Alrite, that's all for my F.O.C..2ml is my "meditating" day..will be spending the whole day "meditating" with my tv. 2ml..need to replenish my energy before "pia-ing" for the Starhub Anniversary for the following Sat & Sun, ganbatte!!
As for now, I am off to ZOUK!!! hehe..mambo jumbo, here i comes!!!! yeah yeah...
