Travel to Mainz, Germany

Yeap, I am finally back from my training program in Mainz, Germany. A nice and peaceful town to be with only a population of around 200,000 people. We reached on the Sunday and it was basically a dead town.
Our Company got us this hotel, Park Inn because it was about 10-15mins drive down to Coface Deutschland. And basically, it is just a plain hotel. No entertainment, no free wireless internet, no shopping malls around, no fanciful bars and restuarants. *Yawnzzz*
My usual set of breakfast every morning (and its' the SAME everyday!!). The chefs definitely need to go for more innovative culinary skills classes.
The scrambled eggs which I will have it for every morning. Perfectly done with a pinch of salt and pepper added to make it more flavourful.

The normal looking mushrooms and bacon. Wad else can I say besides, normal?

Like any other cities and towns, they have their own "Orchard Road" too.
We had 3 dinners settled at this authentic german restaurant because of the relatively cheaper dishes and the extremely friendly and attentive waitresses.
A nice cold 0.4 litre beer cost only 2 euros due to the Octoberkfest.
Champignon Schnitzel (Pork with Mushroom sauce and fries).
The pork was quite tender and crispy on the outside but the mushroom sauce was too salty for Singaporeans.
Gebratenes Lachsfilet (Grilled Salmon with Roasted Potatoes).
I love the salmon!! Nice, soft and tender and it goes very well with the creamy sauce. The potatoes on the other side, was a bit tasteless.

Original Nurnberger Rostbratwurste - 5 Stuck (Original Grilled Nurnberger Sausage with Sauerkraut - 5 Sausage). The german sausage was averagely done. Kinda oily and fat, but luckily it goes well with the sauerkraut.
And lastly, a photo with the friendly waitress, Michele. Take care and cheers~~!!!
